These videos can take as much as 2 minutes to crank up, by the way. (Edited in the light of Dave's comment below!) If you have speakers on your PC, turn them up to hear the birdsong.

Techie twadle: but they take around 2 mins to crank up on my PC. But if I download, then play them it's a about 30 seconds. I think there's quite an overhead in loading the Quicktime player into an IE7 browser window rather than standalone.
snodlandCan't believe your Trolley problem Kate - what is it with people. I was on my patch yesterday morning and there were 5 rogue fisherman, drunk at 6am, rubbish everywhere - including loo paper where they had been using the path as a toilet would you believe...
I did however get some good views of a Water Vole and a couple of pictures for my blog.
Lol. No, I think it's to do with the format. Unfortunately I'm too dozy to work out how to embed something more user-friendly. Still, patience is a virtue, ahem.
This blog charts the fortunes of water voles in and around the Whitchurch area, North Shropshire. Water voles are one of the UK's most threatened mammals, extinct in many counties, and so it's vital they receive as much monitoring and protection as there is going. Here in Whitchurch we're lucky enough to have them right in the middle of town - how cool is that?

Nice video though!

Perhaps best to click on play and then go and do somehing else in the room - sew on a button, dust round your coving - till the video starts!
I can never get my head round why people drop litter full stop, but to spoil a place that's naturally beautiful really stumps me.
I'm hopeful we can make headway with the trolleys, though. I meet with the new manager of Tesco on Tuesday to discuss the problem.
I'll check out your blog now!
If you upload something like the vole version of "Heaven's Gate" that might just get me halfway through the coving!
It might just be my old and evil PC that's taking so long! They're top quality when the show up though!
