I saw the manager of Tesco on the bridge this evening, and he told me they were monitoring trolley loss this month and that he has passed details of the blog and other information onto the people who make decisions about re-fits. So that's all encouraging.

Good to hear that Tesco's manager is being helpful. If you need any leverage you may like to know that the Environment Agency work on the "polluter pays" principle. The trolleys are his pollution so....
Yes, they prosecuted the Chelmsford store for polluting the River Chelmer. That store now has coin-release trolleys!
