Rare and Super-rare Birds

Male ring ouzel!  Super-rare round here. There was a female too, but I didn't get a photo of her.

Little Ringed Plovers and More Voles


LRP on Whixall Floods.


Enough water vole droppings here to count as a latrine.


This water vole was spooked by a loudly quacking mallard which swam past.
