 Whitethroat

 The baby water voles on Edward German Drive are still using their original burrows, but there are some more further up the stream which show they're striking out on their own. These burrows are much smaller than adults' burrows: more the size of a £2 coin rather than a Pringles tube. I'd have assumed they were field vole burrows if I hadn't seen the baby water voles going in and out.

 Very happy to see these droppings at White Lion Meadow as I thought all the voles had vacated that site.
