Nice Video.You must have the patience of a saint.
I don't usually have to wait long before one turns up. If you wait quietly near a burrow, or a latrine, there's a good chance you'll see a water vole (though there are some nights I draw a blank).
Sometimes a vole comes so close I could reach down and stroke it.
